Through PIMEC, businesses can anonymously demand their clients comply to the Arrears Law

The Multi-sector Platform Against Dilatoriness (PMcM), of which PIMEC is a member, upon being informed of failure to comply with the applicable law regarding dilatoriness, and more specifically to the failure to apply Law 15/2010, of 5 July, which came into force on 7 July, will demand businesses, initially by means of written notice, for them to immediately comply with the ruling of this mandatory regulation with regard to payment periods between businesses and on behalf of the public administration.

Due to this, PIMEC member whose clients do not comply with this law can inform the employers’ organisation, who will anonymously channel the pertinent demands to the non-compliant businesses and administrations.

Furthermore, to fight the non compliance with law 15/2010, of 5 July, this Law grants employers’ entities, associations and corporations, such as PIMEC, the possibility of bringing on the pertinent legal actions, aimed at the cessation and withdrawal in the use of clauses which are null and void due to them contravening the payment periods, as well as the legal rate of interest accrued by default of payment established by law.

In the event of any queries, clarifications or complaints, please forward these to PIMEC’s Legal and Labour Department, addressed to Mrs Isabel Navarro, telephone 902 496 450.
