Economics and Business

The Economics and Business Department aims to increase the efficiency of small and medium-sized enterprises. It is important to highlight that individual entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises represent 99% of the enterprises, generate 74% of the jobs and contribute 65% of the GDP of the private sector in Catalonia.

The statistics and reports which are drafted, from a micro-economic aspect as well as from a macro-economic aspect, will provide useful tools for enterprises, government offices, social and economic organisations and, in short, all institutions linked to the business world.
