Training And Occupation

The Training and Occupation management represents the entity in all governmental consultancy bodies linked to initial, continuous and occupational professional training, such as the Council for Professional Training of Catalonia and the Consortium for Continuous Training of Catalonia. It also deals with promoting occupation, whether it be following-up on active policies in the heart of the Management Council of the Occupation Service of Catalonia, or advising our trade unions and associations in their training and occupation projects.

1- Institutional representation in the participatory bodies related to the subject in:

Europe

Vocational Training Committee, UEAPME, European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

UEAPME is one of the social agents recognised by the European Union and, therefore, participates in the European social dialogue. PIMEC is part of the Technical Work Group on Quality of Professional Training of UEAPME, under the initiative of the General Directorate of Education and Culture of the European Commission.

The Training and Occupation management represents the entity in the following consultancy bodies of the Government of Barcelona:

• Committee for Vocational Training of Barcelona and Barcelona Vocational Training Foundation (Patron of the Foundation: Mr Josep González i Sala).

• Municipal School Board of Barcelona

• Local Occupation Board of Barcelona city.

• Pact for quality Occupation in Barcelona (2008-2011)

• Industrial pact of the Metropolitan Region of Barcelona

Others

The Training and Occupation management represents the entity in other consultancy bodies of the Government, such as:

• Training Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Barcelona.

• Commission for Occupational Training of the Initiatives Centre for Assimilation into Society, CIRE, of the Justice Department.
