In the name of the Executive Committee of PIMEC Baix Camp-Reus, I welcome you to this part of the PIMEC website, where you can find all the information on the employers' organisation which is related to the Baix Camp region.

As you may well know, PIMEC is the employers' organisation for small and medium-sized enterprises of Catalonia. It has been recognised as the most representative social agent by the Government of Catalonia, and its main objective is to defend the member federations, associations and enterprises of Catalonia.

At the Reus office, our aim is to achieve an institutional and technical structure which works closely with our members in the area. This close relationship provides our breadth expertise, when representing and defending the interests of self-employed workers, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the local and regional context. The proximity of our services enables us to provide to the member enterprises all services and agreements that the organisation has in hand to improve the competitiveness of the small and medium-sized enterprises.

Our aim is to help the employers' organisation to serve small and medium-sized enterprises and for the member enterprises to enjoy the support they need in their present and future activity.

PIMEC Baix Camp - Reus

The new PIMEC Baix Camp-Reus office was opened in February 2007. This regional office is modern and functional and is located in a centre of innovation. This office wants to become the first point of reference not only for the enterprises associated to PIMEC, but also for the corporate and economic world in general.

PIMEC, as the most representative employers' organisation for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, wants to be present in the whole of Catalonia and Reus and is one of the many regional offices we have throughout the territory. The aim is to bring the organisation closer to its members and the corporate network in general.

The objectives of PIMEC Baix Camp-Reus can be classified into three spheres of action. Firstly, at an institutional level we want to position ourselves as the first point of reference in the corporate world of the region, obtaining an ever increasing representation in the business arena. Secondly, we want to promote training as a key element for the development of our enterprises. Thirdly, we want to provide our enterprises with a wide range of services and preferential agreements with suppliers, to increase the competitiveness of our members.

From the PIMEC Baix Camp-Reus Committee we want to promote the PIMEC brand as a corporate brand that entrepreneurs recognise and in which they feel a sense of belonging and pride.
