Dear entrepreneurs,

At these difficult times, and in the name of all the members and in my own, we welcome you to our website.

As president of PIMEC Lleida, I would like to encourage all businesses to look to the future with a desire for self-improvement. For this, from the employers’ organisation, a few of our tasks set for this mandate will include ensuring we have a seat at all the tables over which important decisions are taken, influencing in the decisions made by our local politicians regarding our regions, maintaining good relationships with all other economic and social agents in Lleida, among others. However, we never want to forget the interests of all the self-employed workers and the micro, small and medium enterprises.

From our head office in Lleida, created five years ago, we want to provide all entrepreneurs with our advice regarding all aspects which may help them, including economic, employment and legal matters, as well as new channels for expanding their markets or how to obtain funding… We would also like to encourage them to forward us their queries in order to help them to find the best adapted solution to their specific needs.

I believe that Lleida is a region with expectations for the future and for growth, and it is thanks to this that the region will be able to move forward. We must be aware that Lleida has several strong points, such as its business network, comprised of family businesses, its strategic positioning in so far as its communication with the AVE (high speed train), the Alguaire airport, the future Lleida-Tarragona motorway, the tourism sector with the Pyrenees, the excellent image of the city… Therefore, we must make the most of this, without losing sight of our roots and our values.

Finally, it is an honour for me to be heading PIMEC Lleida and, along with the other members of the Executive Committee, defending your interests for the common good of our economic and social network.
