Dear entrepreneurs,

The regional head office of PIMEC in the Valles Oriental region started its activity in February 2005, with the aim to represent and defend the interests and values of the small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed workers before the governments, all social agents and society in general, contributing actively towards their growth and competitiveness. The actions carried out to date have made us the main and most representative business association in the economic and business life of the region, with a member base which already includes more than 4,000 businesses in this territory.

We maintain a close collaboration with larger trade unions in the region, such as the Union of Construction of Valles Occidental, the regional Union of Hospitality Management, the Union of Water, Gas and Electricity Installers of Valles Occidental, and the Metallurgical Union in the region, all of which as members of our Executive Committee, along with other enterprises within the territory.

We encourage you to participate and be integrated into our employers’ organisation, with the aim to establish links which will allow us to become reference point of opinion and action in defence of the interest we share.

We are working to bring the employers' organisation closer to the entrepreneurs, to join together and defend and represent all small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed workers, enabling us to integrate participation and become a tool for improvement and support for the corporate network of our region.

Another of our main objectives is to maintain good collaboration with local government offices, as this is essential when obtaining useful information for economic and social development to benefit the corporate network.
